Black lines through text in word document

I'm in the process of writting a lenghty document in
WORD.I clicked the wrong button and know I have black
lines running through my text.According to the word help
area this highlight is a delete I can restore the
document to origional but I cant erase these lines can
anyone help

Hi Vince,

Are you talking about lines through text that you delete?  If so, double
click on the "TRK" button at the bottom of the screen to turn off "Track
Changes"  You will then need to accept or reject the changes that you have
made while that function was turned on.
