I am trying to create a Letterhead template so that if
the letter is more than 1 page long that the 2nd page on
would have a separate header and footer.

Should be easy but I cannot seem to get it to work
correctly.

I am using word xp

Thanks for your help

See http://home.zebra.net/~sbarnhill/Letterhead.htm. Note that what you are
referring to are called "headers." "Headings" are something different.

In Word2000 (so hopefully it will work in your versioni) you woul
select Page Setup - Layout tab - Different Fist Page
Then set up your first page as you want in the header and footer an
close them.
Add a couple of lines in the body of your first page and then a manua
page break (ctrl-enter).
Now you can set up your second page header and footer as you want.
Save the file as a template (.dot) and then delete the page break.
Save the file again.
Now when you select the template from File-New and add a page break yo
will get the second page as you had set it up.
Hope this helps,
Andre
