Is there any way to remove headings from the styles
listing in a document besides reformating the template?
When I try to delete a heading style Word will not let
saying that the style is builtin and cannot be deleted.

I am migrating a lot of old documentation into new
templates and do not want to expand the styles listing for
the docuemnts.

Hi Dave

You can't delete the built-in heading styles. If you attempt to do so,
Word just re-sets them to the default.

This may be possible. What version of Word do you have?
