Hi all
First time posting here - I have a little issue; not a bad one, jus
something I would like clarification on before it drives me batty!
I have a fairly long manuscript I'm writing, on 2 computers; I'
transferring it from one to the other as I write it using variou
methods, generall ZIP drive.
OK, here's where it gets weird.
On one computer, it's 598 pages (so far). 1" margins all round, doubl
spaced, courier non-proportional font, and so on.
On the other, with EXACTLY THE SAME SETTINGS, it's 652 pages.
What gives? Anyone help out there? It doesn't matter that much, but I'
like to know how long the doc is going to be, and why it doesn't sho
up with the same length, regardless of the settings!
Cheers
Callu

could be a whole lot of reasons. Have a look at:
Why does the appearance (or layout) of my document change when I open it
on a different machine? (by Suzanne S. Barnhill)

Your larger document may have a page size of Letter,
while the smaller document is A4?
