I want to print club membership cards using Avery 8 1/2 x 11
perferorated business card stock.
I had hoped to insert a graphic image of the card in each table cell,
then superimpose a textbox,
and put Mail Merge field codes into the text box so the individual
membership name etc gets written into each
successive card. Trouble is, I get an error repost saying I can't have
these field codes in headers,
footers, and the like. I take this to mean it is objecting to having
the Mail Merge field codes in
the text boxes. If this is indeed not allowed, is there any other way
I can accomplish this?
Let me describe the "graphic image" I'm talking about. It is a scanned
image of the currently
used card, which is a green background with a logo at the left, the
club name at top center,
and a rectangular white area in the center into which the member data
is typed. The plan was to plop
this image into the cell, and place the text box on top of the white
rectangular area.
TIA
Ed
