Posted this yesterday but its gone today?? Still need to know where outgoing
messages are filed.

I have a new form in word which I can fill in and it gets sent OK but I
cannot find where a copy is filed.
I am using word 2000 on a XP machine with OE6 as my email client and its not
in my sent box.
HELP please.

In OE, check Tools - Options - Send. Is "Save a copy of sent messages... in
Sent Items" checked?

If so, check your list of folders and see if you perhaps multiple Sent Items
folders associated with different accounts.

It is checked in both OE and OE6. There is only one sent folder in each. OE
is empty as I do not normally use that but OE6 is properly storing sent mail
from that program but not those sent from Word.

Somehow, I completely missed that you're using Word--I though you'd simply
misposted an OE question in the wrong newsgroup. Chances are good that
you're not using OE at all for email... most likely you're using Outlook.
Word cannot be used as an email editor/reader for OE. Open Outlook and check
in its Sent Items folder.
