"Word could not load the e-mail envelope. This could be caused by a network
connection problem or a problem with your Office installation."
I found this link that explains my exact problem and offers a solution.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260623/en-us
But because Microsoft not longer provides the Office 2000 ORK toolset due to
some security issue, It was suggested that you could use the same ORK toolset
for Office 2003. HOWEVER...if you run Windows 98 like myself, this
ORKtool.exe file will not run. So Im looking for another solution. So here
I am searching for another solution.
I would be forever grateful if someone could help me out on this!!
Thank you in advance for any help possible!

Insert your Office CD and see if it located the missing files. The feature
you are attempting to use may be trying to install on "First Use"

I elieve I have solved the problem without this "ORK tool" thing. One thing
I needed to do was catch up on the Office service packs. Thank you for your
input.

hello
I may as well keep thi in the same thread.. because its a similar/kinda
issue-
I'm receiving the same error within word when I try and send to mail
recipient-
I've tried repair Office
I've tried removing MS Office
I've tried reinstalling MS Office
I've tried downloading OKRTools - installing it and then I draw a blank at
this point -
the directions say:
2.After you install the latest version of the ORK core tools, run the
Office Profile Wizard again to recreate your .ops file.3.Recreate your
transform in the Custom Installation Wizard, and import the .ops file that
you created in the previous step.4.Install Office by using this new
transform.
I really what it is talking about? I never created a .ops file when I
installed Office?
Then it says Install Office by using the new transform? *tilts his head
sideways and mutters huh?*
any help?
George
