Hi,
An associate called to say that she was stumped on how to print labels in
Word 2003 from the Outlook Express address book. I thought this would be an
easy problem to solve, soon I was stumped, too.
The addresses she wants to use are already in the Outlook Express address
book. However the OE address book is not one of the options for printing
labels. Word tells her that her default mail is not set up for printing
addresses/labels, and she does not have Exchange installed. This makes it
sound like that only way to print labels is to install Outlook and Exchange,
set up an address book in Outlook/Exchange. This sounds sort of nutty to
me -- way too complicated, and not very useful for people who are not in a
corporate, networked environment.
Isn't there a straightforward way to print a batch of labels?
Thanks for any help you can provide to clear this up.

Export the address book to a text file (comma delimited) and use that file
as the datasource.
