I trying to send a email with a attached Word document from Word. Therefor i
found a code on the WordMVP site.
It works until the part that Outlook should start. (when Outlook is already
open, there is no problem)

Set oOutlookApp = GetObject(, "Outlook.Application")
If Err <> 0 Then
   Set oOutlookApp = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
   bStarted = True
End If

After a while i found out that on my homePC, i should call for
Outlook.Application.11
It works good until, i have put the document on the officePC. There Outlook
do not want to start also. Outlook.Application.11 (with or without .11) does
not work.
On both PC runs Office 2003, only the officePC has connection with a
Exchange server.

Who can tell me what other "extensions" are possible for Outlook 2003
(11a?), or who has a better idea to start Outlook.

With regards, Johan

I have never had to add a number to the Outlook.Application.  Have you set
the necessary reference to the Outlook Object Library?

Outlook 11.0 Object Library is installed.
with the help of a page from the knowledge base Microsoft i came in the
register, there i find the extra .11
With google search on "Outlook.Application.11", i found more people with the
same problem, but still no solution for me.
It is possible that settings or a virusscanner is blocking on the
companynetwork. But i have to find what is wrong before i can change
something.

Installed is one thing; is the reference set to it in the Visual Basic
Editor under Tools>References?
