My name is Dallas Thomas; I am a rising senior at Gloucester high and also
will be my last year. I am writing you due to the circumstance of my grades
and the 2.0 waiver for an appeal. One of the classes that I've been taking
was geometry, which I failed not because of absents or tardiness, but not
understanding the geometry section. Because I didn't understand I did the
best I can and I attend to stay after for tutoring .I did the best I could
to my ability and work hard at it. I failed the class and after the school
year I need 2 credits to be able to qualify for the academic policy. I
directly attend summer school and to take two classes. The summer school
director told me that I couldn't take one of the classes that I chose
because the class was already filled. I attended the other class that I've
chosen and pass. I was not notifying of the 2.0 appeal policy knowing that
this is my first year here. I also was not notify when to turn in the
deadlines. To my knowledge all I can do is to wait on a decision or request
and pray that I can have a chance to explain myself. Thank you and please
