It there any way to get Word 2002 to work as the e-mail
editor of Outlook 2003? I purchased Outlook 2003
separately and am using Office XP on a Windows XP Prof.
system. If not, guess I'll have to return program to
vendor and go back to Outlook 2002. I really like the
features of Outlook 2003 but need Word as my editor.
Any advice would be appreciated.

As far as I know, when you mix Outlok and Office versions, you lose the
"envelope" facility in the Office Apps and the ability to use Word as the
email editor. This has been the case for several versions of Office. I do
not think there is a workaround so you will probably have to revert to OL
2002
to fix the problem, as you mentioned.

Peter:
Unfortuneately, you are right. By design Outlook 2003
will only work with Word 2003. As you suggested, I have
reverted back to OL 2002. When the price comes down on
the Word 2003 upgrade I may spring for it. Then I will be
able to use OL 2003. Oh well, live and learn. Thanks for
your reply.
