Using Word 2000 and Outlook 2000
I tried to make labels using my contacts list from outlook
and I get an error message.  The company list shows up
right away as an offline address book, but using the drop
down from "show names from the" area and selecting Outlook
Address book and contacts this is the error I get:

"Unable to display the contents of this address book.  The
Contacts folder associated with this address list could
not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you
do not have permissions.  For more information on how to
remove this folder from Outlook Address Book, see
Microsoft Outlook Help.

Microsoft Exchange Client [80040201]"

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?  Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

I hope this helps.

I had the problem with Outlook 2002 after copying Outlook files to
new user. Along with the problem in Word, the Outlook Address Book di
not work.  Deleting the Outlook Address Book, then creating a new on
solved the problem in Outlook and the problem in Word.
Instructions are here for 2002:
