I upgraded the outlook on the Client Win2000 Pro SR4 to
Outlook2003 but retained the Office suite of 2000 SP3.
Now all recent documents (last 8 months) are defaulted to
bold throughout & the font is not allowed to change.  The
network was also upgarded to WIN2003 Server.  Thanks

Its possible that Outlook 2003 has edited those docs in some way. I would
suggest you do a repair of Office 2000 then update back to the service pack
3. Do not uninstall Outlook 2003, just repair Office 2000 from the setup
options.
