Is Microsoft Word installed on your computer? You can also download the Word
Viewer to read the document. Or if their is another type of word processor
on your PC, save the the Word file to your PC, then enter your Word
Processor and open it from there.

If this is still a problem, do a reinstall of Office to fix any corrupted
files and update to the latest patches and service packs.
