When trying to do a mail merge I get an outlook security box saying an
external program is trying to access your outlook address book to send email
on your behalf do you want to allow access , and select the amount of time
to allow access for. How can I disable this from happening? I then have to
agree to each message being sent.
Thanks for your help

When the dialog box comes up, is there a check box where you can indicate
that you don't want it to display again?

I have this problem in Word 2000/Outlook2000 SP-3 but not
in WordXP/OutlookXP SP-3. (Make sure to use the latest SP)
MS's knowledge base brags about the tighter security with
Office2000SP-2 & 3 but they don't tell you how to turn off
the prompt so messages will all go through. This is a real
pain if you have 1,000 recipients.
I would be interested in knowing the fix, other than using
Word XP/Outlook XP.

You can avoid this happening by downloading the "Express ClickYes" utility
that is available as a free download from:
