Word Template used for Email

I have this new form setup at work.  It sends a table word
document as an email message to several of our customers.
Problem is, I am getting "Attachment blocked" messages
from the customers.  Specifically, the message I get is:

"XXXXXXX's server has intercepted a mail from your mail
account which caused the Attachment Filter to be
triggered.  Your message was not delivered to our XXXXXXX
associate because it contains an attached file which can
contain viruses harmful to our computing systems.
Please remove the attachment and resend the message.
Thank you."

(Company name X'd out.)

Now, the funny thing is, when I look at the email in my
Outlook, I see no attachment.  Can someone explain what is
going on and if there is any way to get around this
stumbling block?

Boggled...

More information about this problem I'm having...

Apparently, the Word Template emails this form in the
guise of HTML code... and this is where our customers are
having problems accepting the email.  They are set up not
to accept HTML code through email.  Is there any way to
arrange Word templates so that they aren't added as HTML
code?

Just an FYI - I discovered the "Send as attachment"
tickbox in Tools - Options - General Tab, and unticked
it... but the email still gets rejected from the apparent
HTML code.

Now, I know you can insert an object, be it a Word file,
within Outlook email composition screens and can make it
a .bmp file from within Outlook.  Is there any way to make
the Word template do that automatically when you send it
through email?  That could possibly solve my problems.

Found this article which pretty much sums up my problem
and the work-around:

It's a bit inconvenient, but doable.  My revised question
now becomes:  Does newer versions of Microsoft Office
(2002 and newer) attach Word documents to email as HTML or
something else?

Thank you for your response.  For a while there, I thought
I was yodelling at the Grand Canyon.  I saw that Mail
Merge information yesterday when I zoomed through the FAQs
and to be honest, it isn't applicable for me.  Each
attachment will have a unique name so I couldn't make a
table to use this method.

Can you tell me if Word 2002 or later imports the
documents into email as HTML or something other?

The idea is that the names of the attachments would be in the datasource.
