I am trying to email a word document to a list of
prospects whose email address is on an excel spreadsheet.
The office assistant says I need to click on "Merge to"
and click on "Electronic mail". Where is this option? It
does not exist under tools or merge or anything I can see!

Please help!! The lsit is 1400 prospects, I can't do it
manually!!

You would need to use the document that you want to send as the basis of a
mailmerge that you execute to email.  To do this, you can either go through
the steps of the mailmerge wizard, or turn on the mailmerge Toolbar
(view>toolbars).  The document will then become the body of the email.

If you want to send the document as an attachment, see the article "Mail
Merge to E-mail with Attachments" at

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm

Hope this helps
