I am preparing a serial mail for suppliers, which should
include the following:
* Name and address of each supplier
* List of each supplier's materials . This differs across
our customer range.

I might have to access two datasources (one with name and
address, one with name and materials), but don't think
this is possible.

or - can I access one datasource (excel or access), which
lists the materials and consequently repeats the names,
but then 'program' my word serial mail that each supplier
name appears only once?

Thanks for any replies in advance,
Heike

It's really easier to do the whole thing in Access as a Report.

For some tips on doing it with Word, see the "Multiple items per condition"
item under the "Special merges" section of fellow MVP CIndy Meister's
website at

Thanks for the reply.
I think I have to do it in word as I need an electronic
reply from the suppliers on the serial document I send...

So - I will check out the link, at least I know what i
have to search for now.
