Hi. I'm trying to print envelopes from an Access database, using Mail
merge, and I really need some help. Haven't done a merge since forever.

I can't get it to merge and it's not drawing from the database. It's
showing in print preview, only one envelope, and it's picking up the
return address as the "To" address. I'm trying to go through the
database by clicking the arrows on the Merge toolbar and it only shows
this one address.

I hope that's clear.

Using Word 2000 and Access 97, Win-ME. Thanks!

Hi Erika,

When you turn off the preview by clicking on the <<ABC>> button, what do you
see where the return address had appeared?

What you should see in that location is the relevant fields from your
database.  If they do not appear in that location, you must insert them
there in the arrangement in which you wish them to appear.

Hi, Doug. Yes, I do see the fields, and they are correct.

PS: is Access to Word the most direct and easiest way to get my envelopes?

After many years I finally realized that I can quite easily print
mailing labels directly from Access, but in this case I would like to
print on the envelopes.

I can use Excel also, if that is any help.

Thanks!

Hi. I've got the merge worked out - so never mind.

Now the printer won't work. I don't know what's wrong. Word will print a
regular sheet of paper but it won't print the merged envelope.
