Hello,

I'm producing a Mailmerge file for a customer mailout. What is the maximum
record capacity word can cope with. I need to create a mail merge for
approximately 30,000 records. Presumeably Word will not cope with this amount
of data, so how many would be a viable choice?

There have been reports of a performance hit with quite a bit smaller number
of records than that.  I have no first hand experience, but the suggestions
are that Word starts to choke with anything more than about 5,000 records at
a time.

Hope this helps.
