I'm a fan of Albert D. Kallal's wordmerge program
http://www.members.shaw.ca/AlbertKallal/msaccess/msaccess.html
but I have a problem. The office for which I have developed a new program
uses WordPerfect instead of Word. Since I cannot get the wordmerge program to
work with WordPerfect (I'm not that good at programming) I've tried adding a
Copy of Word to one of their computers to explore the possibility of
converting them to Word. However, it didn't function. Word would not open.
I'm not sure if it's a conflict with WordPerfect or a lack of ActiveX
software. Any suggestions?

Not with that information.  Were there any error messages?
