I'm using Word 2003.  I've done a mail merge with an excel spreadsheet.  The
worksheet has fields for a name, date, and customer.  Several rows can be
associated with one name.  I've gotten my word document to show the different
dates and customers on one page with the Nextif field; however, I want it to
page with a change in name.  I'm assuming a have to write a macro--because I
don't see a mailmerge field I can use.

Sounds like you are probably trying to perform a "multiple items per
condition (=key field)" mailmerge which Word does not really have the
ability to do:

See the "Group Multiple items for a single condition" item on fellow MVP

Or take a look at the following Knowledge Base Article

Hope this helps.

This helped somewhat.  Unfortunately, I'm trying to e-mail Merge from Word on
a field called "Clinician_Name".  If a clinician has more than one patient,
i.e. 5, its sending 5 e-mails to that person (I used the Microsoft link/the
other two were confusing).
