relinking in mail merge

Does anyone happen to know how to relink a mail merge. What happened was I
had a mail merge document that was working great it automatically linked to
my data document. however I had to change on eof my folder names in the path
to my data document adn now it appears my mail merge is confused and can't
find my data source without me physically finding it for it every time. If
anyone knows hoe i can relink wihtout completely redoing my document so that
it autoatically links again i would sure appriciate it thanks.

Are you saving the mail merge main document after re-linking it to the data
source?
