Hi,

I have installed barcode fonts in fonts folder and merged a form letter
nearly 1000 pages with converting one field into barcode field, real trouble
is that after taking prints the barcode is printed but it is not recongised
by the barcode scanner. how can i solve this problem.as I want to print 1
lakh A4 letters with one unique field as barcode. and the barcode merge field
is like RBOR00232323 and the merge data is from excel sheet...any body help
plzz..

1. what is added to convert a normal RBOR00232323 as a barcode in 3 of 9 and
note that the scanner should reconiges it. i.e checksum charector....

Hi Safi

Mailmerge with barcode 3 of 9.
Field contain e.g. RBOR00232323

To make 3 of 9 barcode you start with * then your mergefield (header) and
end with *.
Mark up from * to * and select font with 3 of 9 barcode.
* is a part of the barcode. I do think, your probleme is here.

Size of barcode:
Font Size = 24; Scale = 0

or

Font Size = 36; Scale = 66

Scale: Menu: Format - Font - Character Spacing - Scale.

Remembet to set Format - Autocorrect - Autoformat as you type - ? Bold* and
_Italic_with real formatting.
