Merging Data is not is correct format

Hi,

I am using MS-Office XP while i merge data from excel the merged fields does
not have correct format I have set in Excel Like in Excel it shows 19258 but
after merging in word it changes to 19258.010000000002 which is very
difficult to delete that decimals each and every page..how can i adjust this
decimals else simply I dont want decimals..hope you understand..

Either change the way Word connects to Excel - check Word
Tools|Options|General|"Confirm conversions at open", then go through the
process of connecting to your data source again, and choose the DDE option
when it is offered.

Or change your field code from e.g.

{ MERGEFIELD myfield \*Mergeformat }

to

{ MERGEFIELD myfield \#0  \*Mergeformat }
