Is it possible to have a mailmerge fillin with a dropdown list? How about if the dropdown is identified programmatically? It would be great! But, if you can describe in a bit more detail what you have in mind AND in which version of Word it should work, there *might* be a workaround (involving VBA)... I'm afraid your only possibility - if you want a "popup box" - is going to be a UserForm. Or you need form fields or ActiveX controls in the document. Fillin fields are, like, maybe 20 years old.
