I have a large word document that I am try to merge with
data from Excel. I have Word 2002 with SP2. This merge
file has social security numbers, phone numbers, and whole
lot of additional data. I am merging into tables. Parts
of the table has correct information and is formated
correctly. Other parts have either incorrect data or
formating. I have tried about everything I know to do. I
have even copied one part that is correct to a part that
does not print correctly. Everything appears to be
formated the same. This is very frustrating. Can you
help me?

Hi Steve,
In the mailmerge main document, use Alt+F9 to toggle on the field codes and
inside the closing } insert a numeric picture switch of the following form
\# "000 00 000" for the social security numbers
\# "(000) 000'-'0000" for the phone numbers
Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.
Hope this helps
