My mail merge is rounding my originating values.  WHY?

I have a dollar value in a column I am trying to merge onto a Word document.
Once merged, the word doc rounds out the dollar value.
Ex: $100.12 turns into $100.120000000001
Only some pages of the merge are doing this, and I've tried changing the
Excel column's format, but it doesn't seem to help.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I would not call that "rounding", but see

I know it's not rounding, but didn't know what the opposite of that would
be...expanding? Your link was easy to follow and very helpful.  My problem is
solved! Thanks!
