Trying to create address labels from an excel worksheet but word converts the
postal code to number format so I lose all zip + 4 and foreign postal codes.
How do I keep the text formating?

You may be able to do it by selecting  Options from the Tools menu and then
going to the General tab and checking the box against the "Confirm
conversions at open" item.  After doing that, when you attach the data
source to the mail merge main document, you will be asked for the method by
which the connection should be made.  Try the DDE option.

Doug,
I tried the options change and the DDE load option and it worked great!
Thank you.
