In a prior version of MS Word, I was able to click on the data form icon on
the mail merge toolbar, and it would show how many records were in my data
source.
However, I've upgraded to MS Word 2003, and cannot find this same feature.

Does anyone know a simple way to find the number of records in a data source
without having to manually count each row of my data source?  I'm using the
mail merge feature for labels.

From the View menu in Word, select Toolbars and then check the Mail Merge
item.  That will display a toolbar with all of the buttons required for
merging and you should then be able to access the information that you
require.

Hope this helps.
