I have upgraded from Office 2000 to 2003 and now when I open my word template
to merge data from an access database my records are out of sync i.e. record
no 1 in the database is record No 8 in the merge, also my access database
used to open when I opened the template and now it doesn't. I think its a
data sort problem but can't work out why the database won't open when I open
the merge document.
I don't have a clue about this so can anyone help?????

I am not sure about the records being out of synch issue, but from the Tools
menu in Word, select Options and then go to the General tab and check the
box against the "Confirm conversions at open" item.  Then when you attach
the data source to the mail merge main document, select the DDE option and
your database should then open like it used to.

Hope this helps.
