When i open a Word Document (whether it be a letter, labels or table) that i
have set up to draw information from an access 2000 file, upon opening i get
a message that says the operation cannot be complete due to dialog or
database engine failures. What does this mean?

Did you try to Google this error?
I Googled it, 'engine failure' and got a ton of answers. It has to do
with Access.
