I am trying to do a mail merge with data from Access 2002
in Word (Office XP), but some of the existing queries are
not showing. Actually, the database has just been
converted from Access 97. So is this a problem with
Access or Word, and how to fix it? Please help!

Hi,
I have the same problem. (just asked yesterday)
Check if in your query (queries) a calculation is done like " TEST:
Nz([xxx])-Nz([yyy]) " or "TEST: Nz([xxx])*y "
When I remove all this calculation fields my query is seen in the merge.
Ok ... this is not a solution, but ...
When you install Office2000 it will work.
If the thing is not working I need to reconfigure the whole database, and
this is not possible at the end of the year.
Greetings

Hi Lillian,
The problem maybe the situation discussed in the Knowlege Base article "No
Records Are Displayed When You Merge Data with Microsoft Word" at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;301595
Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.
Hope this helps
