Insert Address Button not using AddressLayout

Has anyone discovered a way to program the Address Button
so it won't ignore the AddressLayout Auto Text in the
Envelopes and labels dialog box in Word 2002? Article
292127 in the Knowledge Base has a workaround, but I can't
believe there isn't someone who hasn't figured out a
better way.
