Loss of data during Mailmerge

Hi all,
I'm facing a really strange problem in(Word2002 sp3) :
1- I collect data from end-user then that data is saved as a
wdFormatDocument.
2- then that file is opened in the command
ActiveDocument.MailMerge.OpenDataSource (with
SubType=wdMergedSubTypeWord2000)
But from time to time the content of the 52nd field (some free text ) is
lost (not saved in the merged Word doc)
any Idea?

Is your word data source formatted as a table in a Word document, or is is
simply a comma-delimited list in Word format? (Or perhaps something else?)

If it is simply a comma-delimited list, are there any "unusual" characters
in the free text, e.g. commas, double quotes, paragraph marks, etc.?
