Step 3 of 6: Select Recipients
  1.  Under Select recipients, select from the following
three options:
Choose Select from Outlook contacts, and then click
Choose Contacts Folder.
When I made this choice I got the following message:
Unable to obtain list of tables from the data source.
Can anyone tell me why?

Not really, but
a. you should probably get the latest version of the Data Access software
(MDAC) from the Microsoft web site and install it.
b. you /may/ find that things work more smoothly if you open Outlook and
select a contact folder (and perhaps some contacts), then use Outlook
Tools|Mail Merge to initiate the merge. Generally speaking it's a more
reliable and versatile way of merging from Outlook. But be careful as the
field names used in the two different methods may differ in some cases.
