how do I get receipts to increment thru my database on 1 sheet

I need to print out rent receipts for my property (26 units) and would like
to automate the process. How do I get receipts to increment thru my database
on 1 sheet. right now the best I get is many copies of the same thing...

In what form is your data base?  If it is Excel, it is easy to create a
column of numbers that increment by one.
