Why is it when I create a mail merge using MS Word and print using my dot
matrix printer with continuous feed labels the printing insists on printing
12 labels and then skipping 2 labels leaving them blank EVERY SINGLE TIME?
It's been a strange feature that I've been putting up with for years now and
I just don't understand why it does that. They are continuous labels. There
is no need to skip 2 labels after every 12 it prints. This causes a lot of
waste when I print a 500+ mailing list.

The skipping is probably controlled by a DIP switch on the printer.
