I have Windows XP and MS Word 2002. I want to merge labels. I do not want to
use the merge wizard.  How do I do this?

From the View menu, select Toolbars and then check the Mailmerge item.  The
toolbar that will be displayed contains buttons for all of the operations
that are required to setup and execute a mailmerge.

See the article "Mail Merge to Labels with Word XP" on fellow MVP Graham
