Tip: Looking for answers? Try searching our database.

After the mail merge, my document cannot be edited, it locks up.

The data source is an Excel spreadsheet, 250 rows and 30 columns.  When the
merge is completed the document is 498 pages.  Is this just too big?  The
document and data source are located on a file server.  Thanks!

Should not be too big, but I would suggest that you try and set things up so
that there is no need to edit the result.  If that is not possible, I would
suggest that it would make your editing more simple and probably overcome
the problem if you execute the merge 50 records at a time, rather than try
to do it all at once.
