I am trying to use mailmerge (Word/Excel) to create an auction catalog.  It
works great EXCEPT for the longer descriptions which get cut off after so
many characters.  Is there a way I can merge the WHOLE description?  If not I
can go through and copy/paste the descriptions but it seems unnecessarily
tedious...

Try the DDE route first if you haven't already.
