I want to repeat a page within a long word document. Information of this page
is taken from a Excel document and introduced into the word documents as
fields. What I want to know if it is possible in word is to create as many
pages in word as the Excel sheet has records for the page required, but the
rest of the word pages not to be duplicated as well. Thanks.

The page with the merge fields would need to be set up as a separate
document, then the merge be executed to a new document and then that
document be copied and pasted into your other document.

Hope this helps.

Doug, thank you for your response.

I already have done what you suggested. I want to know if it can be
automated and self-contained in a sole document.

What I want to know is if there is any way to do it within the same
document. Let's say setting marks to let word know which is the portion of
the docment that is allowed to be repaeted and what portion needs to be
fixed.

Thanks and regards,

Ameni

Not particularly easily.

Sounds like you are probably trying to perform a "multiple items per
condition (=key field)" mailmerge which Word does not really have the
ability to do:

See the "Group Multiple items for a single condition" item on fellow MVP
Cindy Meister's website at

http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/mergfaq1.htm#DBPic

Or take a look at the following Knowledge Base Article

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;211303

Or

http://cornell.veplan.net/article.aspx?&a=3815

But you may need to "roll-your-own" substitute for mail merge using VBA
