I have a MS Word 2003 Mail Merged document with data source in Excel 2003.
1. I know how to create charts but don't know how to create charts in a mail
merged document?
2. When data is merged on some field; the number are displaying a bunch of
decimal points e.g. 48.909112233454656
For the chart thing, see Cindy Meister's web site at
http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/
Look for "Mail Merge FAQ"|"Special Merges"|"Merge with Chart"
For the number, see http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk/t0003.htm for a lengthy
explanation, but in this case what will probably work is to use a numeric
format switch in your Word merge field, e.g. change
{ MERGEFIELD mynumber }
to
{ MERGEFIELD mynumber \#"0.00" }
