MS Office Forum / Word / Mailmerge and Fax / March 2007Displaying mailmerge fields
I'm not sure what I've done, but where I used to be able to view the merged data in mailmerge documents, I now see fields like { MERGEFIELD name } instead. I thought I'd find something under Tools/Options/View, but haven't had any luck. Many thanks in advance! Hi Chris, You've managed to toggle the field code display to 'on'. You can toggle it off again using the Keyboard shortcut Alt-F9, or you can find it under Tools|Options|View.
