Mail Merge with Bookmarks

I am attempting to have a list of bookmarks in a seperate document (doc1)
with text and mergfields allocated to this bookmark and I am then trying to
merge the bookmarks into multiple other documents (doc1, doc2, doc3 etc) by
using the bookmark that is allocated.

I am trying to do this without much success to try and save me time as I may
want to change some of the information in the bookmark from time to time and
rather than go through 200 different documents I think this would be easier.

Can this be done in this way and if it is how do I get the mergefield to
merge a bookmark from another document?

Thanks

Martin

Bookmarks must be unique. The merge process will strip bookmarks in the
merge document.
Depending on what you are doing, you may be able to use includetext or
autotext fields to insert the data - the method is similar to that at
