Mail Merge Data Base File Name

Im currently setting up a mail merge in word 2003, i would like to be able to
show the name of the excel database which the word doc is linked to, is this
possible?  any help would be great.

Where do you want to show it?

The VBA command

ActiveDocument.MailMerge.DataSource.Name

will return the name of the data source attached to a mail merge main
document.
