Merging large txt file

I am merging a .txt file to Word. It has some fields that are rather large
>2k. Word seems to stop processing at a specific input total kb. What is the
limitations on input?

Although some older limits are documented in Microsoft's Knowledgebase, I
don't think there is a source (official or unofficial) that tells you this.

Not sure I can help, but
a. is your problem with the total length of specific fields, specific
records, or the total length of the data file?
b. which version of Word?
c. which connection method is Word using (are you choosing it? Are you
seeing a dialog that asks for field /and/ record delimiters, just field
delimiters, or neither?)
