Hello,

I have 2 currency fields that need to be added together to create a 'total
premium' field. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Chris

Something along the lines -

{=({Mergefield Firstfield} + {Mergefield Otherfield}) \# "$,0.00"}

Thanks Graham. I tried that and when I hit Alt+F9 to toggle, it displayed

!SYNTAX ERROR,1

I've tried playing with spaces between the plus sign vs. no spaces and
various other variations but to no effect.

Thanks,
Chris

It will give a syntax error unless both fields are present and contain
numeric data. Update the field (F9)
Create a directory merge containing just these fields. Merge to a new
document and see what happens?

Funnily enough, as I was writing my last message, I thought it might because
the fields weren't yet populated. This has since proved to be the case and it
does work. Thanks for your help again. I may be on again later for something
else.

Kind regards,
Chris
