how to fomat zip codes in Mail Merge

I am doing an Excel mail merge and I formatted the zip codes in excel to have
a 0 in front of them.  But when I go into Word, it takes away the 0 at the
beginning of the zip code.  What do I do?

OMG, thank you so much !!!!!!! It worked... a little confusing at first but
its OK now
