The merge function in Word is horrible. I have not been able to successfully
send a mail merge from Word. Every time, the program freezes. It sends maybe
5 emails and then Word is "Not Responding". Are there any suggestions to
avoid this error? I have a POP3 account for Outlook. Does this have anything
to do with it?

Set Outlook not to send e-mails immediately. Is then the whole merge
reproduced in the Outbox.
e-mail merges cause all kinds of problems - see if
